LG Monitors With A Camera

LG has three models of Monitors with a camera.

27” QHD IPS HDR 10 Libero Monitor with Detachable Full HD Webcam

This monitor has the most positive reviews compared to others and is an excellent QHD monitor.

It’s an IPS panel with FreeSync, sRGB 99% & HDR 10, a 75 Hz refresh rate, and a large array of display options.

It also has a matte display instead of a glossy one, which means less light reflection.

It also gets pretty bright. It mirrors LG TV in terms of settings, which is awesome.

The build quality is amazing its look beautiful on the desk. It can also be mounted on the wall.

Pros 👍

  1. sRGB 99% , FreeSync, IPS Panel, HDR 10.

38-inch Curved UltraWide Thin Client Monitor (PC built-in)

This is a 38-inch monitor with a built-in PC with a similar processor power as core i3.

This is built for cooperators that want computers for manufacturing plants or similar tasks.

It has all the necessary ports like ethernet, two USB 3.1, Type C port, WIFI, and Bluetooth and has no battery.

I think it can be bought from the LG physical stores, but it’s expensive.

It’s not available on Amazon or Walmart online as it’s not for the average consumer.

Pros 👍

  1. Save Space because of Built-in PC.
  2. Good for cooperation.

Cons 👎

  1. Heavily Expensive; a gaming rig can be built at the same price.
  2. Computing power is less.
  3. Hard to buy due to availability.

Is it worth it to buy Monitor with a camera?

Dell has incredible monitors with a pop-up webcam. Check it out here.

At Amazon prices of Monitors are below

  • FHD 1080p monitors start at $80
  • 2k monitors start at $150
  • 4k monitors start at $210
  • 5k Monitors start at $990 (less competition)

27-inch LG UltraFine™ 5K IPS Monitor for Business

For a five-year-old monitor, the price doesn’t do justice. Maybe it’s because it doesn’t have competition in the market for 5k monitors.

But I prefer a Refurbished Apple Studio Display, Standard glass, and Tilt adjustable stand. With the price of ~$1360. That has more features than a 27-inch LG ultrafine 5k.

27” QHD IPS HDR 10 Libero Monitor with Detachable Full HD Webcam

Good Monitor, but it blocks the view of the laptop screen when multitasking. And does not have a proper stand.

Cheaper options are available, which I have mentioned in the alternative monitors in the below section.

38-inch Curved UltraWide Thin Client Monitor

Simply not worth it. The price is high, computing power is not much.

I can build a heavy gaming rig with a 4k monitor at this price point.
